Exclusive: Nigeria U23 Star Saturday Training With Cadiz Ahead Of Transfer
Published: November 02, 2016According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, Spanish Segunda División side Cadiz are in advanced talks with representatives of Nigeria U23 international Saturday Erimuya.
Having agreed terms, the young defender has been training with Cadiz for the past two weeks and will officially join the Andalusian club subject to the release of his International Transfer Certificate.
The stumbling block is that a local team based in Epe, Lagos State wants him cleared through the club instead of his bonafide team BJ Foundation.
If that can be sorted out, Saturday Erimuya will append his signature to a three-year deal with Cadiz.
Before his trip to Spain, the former Kayseri Erciyesspor stopper was heavily courted by Maltese club Mosta, who had offered him wages in the region of 20,000 euros per season, but he rejected their advances.
