Odemwingie Debuts For Rotherham United Wearing Unlucky Number 13 Shirt
Published: October 29, 2016Super Eagles striker Peter Odemwingie made his competitive debut for Rotherham United on Saturday, five days after joining the Championship strugglers as a free agent.
The experienced frontman was introduced in the last ten minutes of the Millers 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town at Portman Road, wearing the number thirteen jersey.
The visitors were leading 2-1 courtesy of two goals netted by Daniel Ward, and were trying to slow the game when Odemwingie came off the bench, but suffered heartbreak in stoppage time after McGoldrick equalized with a shot from 25 yards.
The Nigerian has penned a short-term deal that will keep him at Rotherham United until January 2017.
He has played for West Brom, Stoke City and Cardiff City in the Premier League.
