Chuba Akpom Turning Heads In United States; Strikes Again For Arsenal
Chuba Akpom continues to impress in pre-season fixtures with another goal for Arsenal in their 3-1 win over Chivas de Guadalajara at Stubhub Center ( California) in the early hours of Monday morning.

The attacker stepped off the bench at the interval and made an impact, tapping home from close range off an assist from Mathieu Debuchy to give Arsenal a three-goal advantage after 56 minutes.

As for team news, manager Arsene Wenger named Nigeria national-teamer Alex Iwobi in his starting XI for the second game in pre-season, and the number 17 subbed out before the start of the second half.

New signing Rob Holding broke the deadlock on 34 minutes and the Gunners were rapid at the start of the second half, with Oxlade-Chamberlain getting his name on the score-sheet in the 50th minute before Akpom struck.

Arsenal won their first game in the United States against MLS All-Stars, thanks to the England U21 international striker who netted a late goal.

The Gunners next match is against Norwegian side Viking on Friday, August 5 in Stavanger.
