Eniola Aluko And Dominic Solanke Pick Up Chelsea Accolades
Published: May 27, 2015Eniola Aluko was pleased to be recognized as the best female player at Chelsea in an awards ceremony staged in Battersea Evolution, London last night.
The Three Lioness is in Canada ahead of the Fifa World Cup so she wasn’t physically present to pick up her accolade.
“I am absolutely delighted to have won Chelsea Player of the year last night. Thank you so much to all the players and staff for choosing me.
“You guys are my continued inspiration. I love this great successful club and value every opportunity I get to wear and represent the Chelsea badge, ”Eniola Aluko said in a statement.
England youth international Dominic Solanke picked up the Academy Player of the Year award on the back of his 41 goals across all competitions for the youth teams.
