Kelechi Iheanacho Scores Again For Man City EDS
Published: May 19, 2015Ahead of the Fifa Under 20 World Cup, Nigeria youth international Kelechi Iheanacho continued his rich vein of form for Manchester City’s Elite Development Squad on Tuesday night.
The 18 - year - old’s goal against Southampton Under 21s was only the icing on the cake but he created two others as City thrash the home team 4 - 0 at St Mary’s.
Nemane, Ntcham and Barker were on target for The Citizens before Iheanacho tapped in from close range in the 57th minute, putting the seal on Man City’s victory.
Defender Joshua Debayo was subbed on with three minutes left on the clock for his 13th appearance of the season for The Saints.
Kelechi Iheanacho will not be linking up with the Flying Eagles squad in Germany but will fly straight to New Zealand from England.
