Steve McManaman Singles Out Sheyi Ojo For Praise
Published: May 07, 2015Former Liverpool player Steve McManaman has lavished praise on the Liverpool Under 21s, and Anglo - Nigerian winger Sheyi Ojo was one of the players he singled out for special praise.
With two rounds remaining in the Under 21 Premier League, the young Reds occupy the second position on the table with 35 points.
“I think they’ve come on leaps and bounds this year, I’m really impressed, ” Steve McManaman told Liverpool Echo.
“There’s a lot of young kids here and you forget that and they’re all doing really well.
“Sheyi [Ojo], Ryan Kent and Harry Wilson, when they attack players, they’re very, very confident and they’re playing very well.”
Sheyi Ojo has scored 3 goals in 8 Under 21 Premier League appearances this term.
