Jordon Ibe Has Encouraged Divock Origi To Move To Liverpool In The Summer
Published: April 24, 2015Lille loanee Divock Origi has admitted that the progress Jordon Ibe is making at Anfield this season has encouraged him to join Liverpool in the summer.
His sporting rights was acquired by The Reds after displaying his wares at the 2014 World Cup but he was immediately farmed out on loan to Lille to improve his chances of playing on a regular basis.
Speaking to liverpoolfc.com, the Belgium international said : “To see the players develop and play in a top league in such a young team, for me it’s very exciting.
“When you see how the coach and the staff work with the young players - how Sterling, for example, has learned over the years and how Ibe is now integrating with the team, it is very interesting.
“It is very nice to have seen that this season.”
Jordon Ibe is set to be rewarded with a new deal in the coming days, with the wing - back expected to pen a five - year contract.
