Fraud Involved In Transfer Of Dele Alampasu To Estoril, Remo Stars Aiding And Abetting Agent Olusola Orelaja
Published: February 05, 2015Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the reported transfer of Nigeria youth international Dele Alampasu to Estoril is invalid as the Portuguese Primeira Liga side conducted business with the wrong club Remo Stars.
After the 2013 Fifa Under 17 World Cup, remember that there was a dispute between Abuja Football College and Future Stars Academy of Lagos over the registration rights of the goalkeeper.
In the ruling by the Nigeria Football Federation, 50 percent of the economic rights of Alampasu were to be warehoused by Abuja Football College, while 30 percent and 20 percent were given to Future Stars Academy and the player/his father respectively.
It is noteworthy that in passing that judgment the Federation did not conduct due diligence to unravel the promoters behind Future Stars Academy.
It is confirmed beyond reasonable doubt (and with evidence) that the Lagos based academy is owned by notorious agent Olusola Orelaja, and this is against the rules and regulations of Fifa, which forbids agents from having interest in academies.
Having said that, Estoril announced via their official webpage that Dele Alampasu was signed from Remo Stars.
A top official of Remo Stars has informed this website that Alampasu never played for the club, saying they had been contacted by an agent (thought to be Olusola Orelaja) to register the goalkeeper.
That action was a clear case of fraud as it did not have the blessing of Abuja Football College, who own half of the registration rights of Dele Alampasu.
