Dream Team Pay Tunisia Back In Their Own Coin, After 3 - 0 Thrashing
Published: January 28, 2015Nigeria’s Olympic National Team continued their preparations for next month’s All African Games qualifier against Gabon with another friendly against Tunisia on Wednesday afternoon.
Having lost the first game played last weekend 5 - 3, the Dream Team VI paid Tunisia back in their own coin, after the North Africans were thrashed 3 - 0.
Just after the half hour mark, Warri Wolves striker Oghenekaro Etebor opened scoring for Nigeria from the spot after Peter Onyekachi had been impeded inside the box.
In the second half, Peter Onyekachi then turned from provider to scorer, with his fist international goal, which came in the 56th minute, before Godwin Saviour added more gloss to the scoreline 2 minutes from time with an individual goal.
Tunisia would have been beaten by a heavier scoreline if Oghenekaro Etebor had converted his spot kick in the 69th minute.
