Exclusive : Segun Adeniyi Keeps Laci Waiting Over Contract Extension
Published: January 23, 2015Albanian Superliga side KF Laçi are hoping to extend the contract of Nigerian forward Segun Adeniyi.
The 22 - year - old’s current agreement with the 2013 Albanian Cup winners will expire at the end of this calender year, according to the player.
“They have offered me a new one - year deal but I didn’t sign. My former contract will expire by December of this year.
“I have offers from some other teams here in Albania, but due to the one - year contract I still have with Laci, they did not release me,” says Segun Adeniyi to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The leadership of KF Laci was eager to extend his stay at the Laci Satdium, having impressed in the first half of the season.
In 11 outings, Segun Adeniyi netted 6 times, including three goals in his last three matches.
A product of COD United, he has been in Albania for the past three years, and first sported the jersey of Bylis Ballsh before shifting to Tomori Berat on loan in 2013.
He is thought to be on the radar of teams in Germany,Turkey,Slovenia and Ukraine.
