ESPN MEDIA DISTRIBUTION AGREES DEALS FOR NFL PLAYOFFS & SUPER BOWL IN AFRICA

ESPN’s media distribution arm has agreed one-year deals to televise this season’s NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl in Africa with two of the continent’s leading sports broadcasters – Supersport and Zuku Sport.
In a new deal in time for the crunch postseason action, ESPN has negotiated rights with Supersport, Africa’s leading sports channel, for all territories in Sub-Saharan Africa, to broadcast live coverage of the NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl XLIX.
ESPN Media Distribution’s agreement with Zuku Sport adds to the broadcaster’s rights to air two regular season games per week, and it will now show all the postseason action.
The deal will see the playoffs and Super Bowl aired in Burundi, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Rwanda, Seychelles, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
