Innocent Emeghara Explains Reason For Quitting Qarabag
Published: January 07, 2015Switzerland international Innocent Emeghara has stressed that he decided to quit Azerbaijani club Qaraba� FK because he felt homesick.
The attacker spent less than three months with the capital outfit before he terminated his contract, and he has refused to castigate his former employer and the Premier League.
“I have no negative memories of Azerbaijan. Football is professionally run there, the local league to the level equal to the Swiss.
“But I was too far away from the family, and therefore decided to return, ” Innocent Emeghara was quoted as saying by azerisport.com.
His contract with Qarabag would have run out at the end of the 2016 - 2017 season if he had honoured it.
