Nigeria Drop One Place In Year End Fifa Ranking
Published: December 18, 2014On Thursday morning, the official website of Fifa published the ranking of National Teams for the year ended 2014.
Soon - to - be deposed African champions, the Super Eagles, fell one place in the global ranking compared to their position in November, meaning they are now in 43rd spot.
In the continental ranking, Nigeria are the ninth best team in Africa behind the likes of Cape Verde Islands and Guinea.
The top five countries in the world are Germany, Argentina, Colombia, Belgium and Holland in that order.
The next ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com on 8th January, 2015.
