Queens Park Rangers Won't Give Up On Odemwingie
Published: January 14, 2013Queens Park Rangers will test West Brom resolve to hold on to star striker Peter Odemwingie by increasing their offer for the player, according to Birmingham Mail.
The British newspaper says The Baggies hierarchy had rejected an undisclosed bid from QPR on Sunday, thought to be around two million pounds.
Manager Steve Clarke has insisted that Odemwingie is not for sale and the club will not allow him leave the Hawthorns in the January transfer window.
Under contract with West Brom until the summer of 2014, Odemwingie would earn £50,000 a week if his move to QPR is sanctioned. He currently pockets £39,000 every week at West Brom.
