'Some news' - Ex-Torino defender turned agent reveals Juventus will try to sign Lookman in June 2025
Published: December 05, 2024Former Torino defender turned football agent. Massimo Brambati has shed light on Juventus' transfer ambitions for the summer of 2025, revealing that the club has set its sights on Atalanta's Ederson and Ademola Lookman.
Speaking on TMW Radio, Brambati indicated that both players are at the top of Juventus' wish list as they look to strengthen their squad.
Lookman, a key figure in Atalanta's impressive campaign, has been attracting attention from several elite European clubs due to his stellar performances.
The Nigerian forward has not only scored nine goals but also provided six assists in just sixteen matches across all competitions this season.
His contributions have been pivotal in keeping Atalanta in the mix for the Serie A title and pushing towards the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
Brambati disclosed that an agent met with Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, presenting an "identikit" of potential June targets.
"Some news about Juventus: there was an agent who met with Giuntoli, who gave him an identikit of two June targets that Juve have. And they are both from Atalanta, one is Ederson and the other Lookman. Juventus will try to sign them in June 2025," Brambati stated.
The future of Lookman has been under scrutiny since last summer, when he attempted to force a move to Paris Saint-Germain amid their interest in him as a potential replacement for the injured Gonçalo Ramos who was recovering from injury.
Given the growing interest from various clubs, Atalanta may face a significant challenge in retaining the talented forward.
As Juventus prepare for a crucial summer, the potential acquisition of Lookman and Ederson could significantly enhance their squad and bolster their ambitions both domestically and in Europe.
