What Tosin and Tyrique George said after Chelsea's historic 8-0 win against Noah

Tosin Adarabioyo and Tyrique George have reacted to Chelsea's historic 8-0 win over Noah in the UEFA Europa Conference League fixture played on Thursday night at the Stamford Bridge.

The Blues triumph over the Armenian side was the biggest ever scoreline recorded in the history of the UEFA Conference League and it also marked a special day for both Adarabioyo and George.

The centre-back opened the scoring in the 12th minute, heading the ball into the net from Enzo Fernández's corner-kick to score his first goal in the colours of the Blues.

The Manchester City Academy product joined the Stamford Bridge outfit in the summer on a free after the expiration of his contract with Fulham.

Yesterday was just his seventh start for the club as Enzo Maresca has preferred the centre-back pairing of Cobham Academy product Levi Colwill and France international Wesley Fofana.

Speaking after the game, the 27-year-old expressed his emotion about netting for the first time since his summer move to the West London-based side, stating how much he had wanted to score.

"Amazing, a goal, huge win and a clean sheet, very good win. I have been trying to get a goal for a minute now, to get my first for Chelsea means a lot." Tosin told Chelsea's YouTube channel.

It was also a remarkable day for George, who was handed his first-ever start for Chelsea, an indication of the level of faith Enzo Maresca has in the talented forward.

The 18-year-old made his first-team debut in the second leg of the qualification tie with Servette coming on as a substitute for Noni Madueke.

Getting a goal or an assist on his full debut would have been the icing on the cake for the youngster but getting the opportunity to start a game for his boyhood club will live long in his memory.

The England youth international spoke about how he felt about making his first start and only getting to know that he was in the starting lineup a few hours before kick-off.

"Great game, really really enjoyed it, obviously to start for Chelsea my boyhood club is great, so it was great for you know.

'Few hours before Enzo told me, obviously was going for the lineup and he said my name. I was just excited, really, and couldn't wait to make a good impression on the fans and on the manager as well. So, yeah, it was good.

"A little bit of nerves of course, but I think the excitement just goes over the nerves. I am just excited to get on the pitch and show what I can do, really."

It will be interesting how much involvement George will now have with the first team between now and the end of the campaign.
