2023 Flying Eagles invitee completes Sampdoria medical ahead of loan move from Inter Milan
Published: July 19, 20242023 Flying Eagles invitee Ebenezer Akinsanmiro has successfully undergone his medical evaluation in preparation for a loan transfer from Inter Milan to Sampdoria, according to Sky Sport Italia via Tuttomercatoweb.
Akinsanmiro joined Inter Milan from Nigerian club Remo Stars in the winter window of 2023.
Following the contract signing, the versatile midfielder transitioned to the youth team where he continued to showcase his talent.
His remarkable performance led to his first-team debut on February 25, 2024, as he was introduced as a substitute for Davide Frattesi in the 76th minute during a 4-0 league triumph against Lecce.
As per Sky reports, Akinsanmiro has undergone his medical assessment and finalized the contract with Sampdoria.
Akinsanmiro has made his move to the Blucerchiati on loan, including the option to buy and counter-buy, with the official announcement expected within a few hours or days.
The 19-year-old is expected to participate in pre-season training in Jena alongside his teammates as they gear up for the upcoming season.
Last season, he notched six goals and provided two assists in 25 appearances in the Primavera 1, highlighting his potential and readiness for the next step in his career.
Sampdoria’s signing of Akinsanmiro is seen as a strategic move to enhance their chances of promotion, with the Nigerian midfielder expected to add quality and depth to the squad.
