Official: Super Falcons-eligible forward signs new deal at West Ham United
Published: July 15, 2024Through official channels, West Ham United have announced that Super Falcons-eligible forward Princess Ademiluyi has signed her first professional contract with the Women's Super League team.
The Hammers have confirmed a new deal for Ademiluyi a day after the 2006-born player celebrated her eighteenth birthday.
She joined West Ham at the age of twelve, rising through the youth team ranks to make her senior debut in a WSL clash against Brighton & Hove on May 7, 2023 when she was 16.
Ademiluyi was handed her first team debut after starring for the U21s, for whom she scored 8 goals in 12 appearances over the course of the 2022-2023 campaign.
Since her senior debut, the highly-rated attacker has totaled seventeen appearances in all competitions for the first team.
She is delighted to sign her first professional contract six years after she joined the London club.
Speaking to the official website of West Ham, she stated: "I’m really pleased to have signed my first professional contract. I’ve been at West Ham since I was 12-years-old, so it feels amazing to be signing my first professional contract at a club that means so much.
"I’ve learnt a lot since making my first-team debut. I feel as if I’ve developed a lot as a player but also as a person.
"I can’t thank everyone who has supported me enough. There have been plenty of highs and lows along the way but now is a massive high and I’m looking forward to what the future has in store."
Ademiluyi has cited Manchester United and Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo as her role model.
