Nottingham Forest ready to flog four players this week, including Super Eagles forward

Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Dennis is among four players linked with an imminent departure from Nottingham Forest before the month runs out.

The two-time European champions are under pressure to sell Dennis and the three other players before the June 30 deadline for Premier League clubs to meet the Profit and Sustainability Rules.

In March 2024, Nottingham Forest were docked four points for breaching Premier League profit and sustainability rules.

According to Football Insider, the Reds are prepared to  part with Joe Worrall, Lewis O’Brien, Emmanuel Dennis and Matt Turner.

Nottingham Forest are eager to avoid selling key players like Morgan Gibbs-White or Taiwo Awoniyi at a reduced price in the near future.

Dennis joined Forest from Watford in 2022 but struggled to establish himself in the starting lineup under manager Steve Cooper, having started nine games in all competitions in his first season at the City Ground.

He spent the first half of last season on loan at Turkish club Basaksehir FK, before returning to Vicarage Road for a second spell in the January transfer window, albeit on a temporary basis.

The Nigeria international has two years left on his contract with Nottingham Forest and is not in the plans of manager Nuno Espirito Santo for the upcoming season, given that he is up for sale.

Before Dennis moved to England, he turned out for  Zorya Luhansk, Club Brugge and FC Cologne.
