Published: April 26, 2024Portuguese Primeira Liga club Casa Pia A.C are the latest team linked with a summer move for Viborg center forward Anosike Ementa ahead of the reopening of the transfer window.
Portuguese sports daily Record claims that Ementa is on the list of players being targeted by Casa Pia for next season.
Casa Pia, former club of Nigeria international Savior Godwin before he departed for the Saudi Pro League, are in the market for a striker as a replacement for Clayton who left for Vasco da Gama in March 2024.
It was previously reported that Anosike was attracting interest from Belgian Pro League side KAA Gent.
The towering striker, who has been likened to Paul Onuachu due to his height and playing style, has a contract with Viborg until December 2026 and is valued at one million euros as per the report.
Since 2023, Ementa has been playing for The Greens, scoring nine goals in twenty-seven appearances while producing four assists.
Viborg are hoping to retain the Danish-Nigerian striker at least for one more season before considering a sale.
Before joining Viborg, Ementa wore the colours of Danish clubs Annisse IF, Helsingør and AaB Fodbold.
