Official : Bournemouth loan out former Tottenham schoolboy of Nigerian descent
Through their official website, Championship club Bournemouth announced on Tuesday that London-born Nigerian midfielder Ferdinand Okoh has been loaned out to Truro City.

The highly-rated Anglo-Nigerian youngster has joined the Southern Premier South club on a work experience loan until the end of the 2021-2022 season.

A second year scholar, Okoh played an influential role in helping the Cherries win the EFL Youth Alliance and reach the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup this season.

The 17-year-old signed a scholarship with Bournemouth in July 2020 following a successful trial after his release by Tottenham Hotspur.

Okoh turned out for the youth teams of West Ham United for four years prior to joining Tottenham Hotspur in 2019.

The combative midfielder made his debut for Truro City against Hayes & Yeading United on Tuesday, coming off the bench in the 54th minute.

He is adept at breaking up play, driving forwards in possession and playing passes forward.
