Arsenal must not let Saka, Lacazette go like Van Persie, Adebayor, Aubameyang
Published: February 14, 2022Premier League side Arsenal have not won the league title since the 2004/2005 season although they are the most successful team in the FA Cup in England.
The building of the Emirates came at a cost. Despite becoming one of the best stadiums in the UK and indeed the world, the club had to sell their best players to recoup the money spent.
Interestingly, the scenario at Arsenal is not the case when you get a deposit bonus with Mansionbet . You don't lose your money, rather you earn bonus points and a promo code is handed to you in your quest to make sure that you keep being a winner and not lose your assets.
Back to all matters regarding to Arsenal, players like Samir Nasri, Robin van Persie, Emmanuel Adebayor, Cesc Fabregas and Bacary Sagna had to go in order to balance the books.
Others like Oxlade Chamberlain, Wojciech Szcsney, Patrick Viera, and a few others had to be sold for either similar reason or slightly different than that.
The culture of selling or releasing of the Arsenal’s best players seems not to be over going by the manner of the departure of players like Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
The justification for accepting to let them go is another subject entirely. However, Arsenal must not let Nigeria by blood, England international Bukayo Saka, and new captain Alexandre Lacazette go that route.
Liverpool are reportedly keen to sign Saka as a possible future replacement for Mohamed Salah who only recently returned from the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon where his team lost to Senegal in the final on February 6.
Arsenal must vehemently refuse a deal for Saka irrespective of the money involved and rather seek to add more quality players to the ranks if there is a chance to return to glory days
The days of Arsene Wenger as manager at the north London club is long gone and money now plays a huge role in making good prospects remain at their clubs.
On Alexandre Lacazette whose contract runs out this summer, it will be nice to have him continue his great working relationship with the youngsters coming through at Arsenal.
A new one year contract with the option of another year for Laca is the best bet to get the team galvanized again. After the Gunners' 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Thursday night, their next Premier League fixture is against Chelsea.
The game has been postponed due to the Blues' Club World Cup final game against Palmeiras.
