Iheanacho on target, Ndidi captains Leicester for 25 minutes in heavy defeat to Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest continued their giant-killing run in this season's Emirates FA Cup with a 4-1 rout of the holders Leicester City at the City Ground to book their place in the fifth round.

The Championship side who knocked out Arsenal in the third round did better today with an outstanding display in defence.

All three Nigerian players in the ranks of Leicester City's first team Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi and Ademola Lookman were handed starts, with the Super Eagles duo going the distance.

After a tentative start, Nottingham Forest roared into a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Philip Zinckernagel, Brennan Johnson and Joe Worrall after 31 minutes.

Five minutes before halftime, Iheanacho gave the Foxes hope when he capitalised on a loose ball, skipped past the goalkeeper and finished into an empty net from a tight angle to reduce the deficit.

Brendan Rodgers' side were not able to get any sort of rhythm in the second half and their demoralizing afternoon continued when Spence slipped the ball past Ward to make it 4-1 just past the hour mark.

Ndidi took over the captain's armband from Youri Tielemans after the Belgian was substituted with 25 minutes remaining.

The Nigeria midfielder was yellow carded for a challenge on Zinckernagel in the 58th minute.
