Okoye's upcoming transfer to Watford : Actual transfer fee confirmed, performance-related add-ons
Published: November 26, 2021The deal taking Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye to Watford in January 2022 included a clause stipulating that Sparta Rotterdam would receive a maximum appearance bonus of 500,000 euros (approximately N232million in Nigerian currency), according to reports.

Before reporting for international duty this month, the 22-year-old signed a five-and-a-half-year contract at Watford with effect from
January 1, 2022 following a successful medical examination in England.
Okoye played 28 Eredivisie matches in his maiden season at Sparta Rotterdam, keeping ten clean sheets and this time around he taken part in thirteen league matches.
