Report confirms ANS exclusive : Torino want to extend contract of Chelsea product Aina
Published: November 02, 2021Italian Serie A club Torino are reportedly working to extend the contract of Chelsea academy product Ola Aina.
Torino Granata says Aina is among three players Torino want to offer a new contract, the others being Brazilian center back Bremer and French-born Ivorian defender Koffi Djidji.
Allnigeriasoccer.com exclusively reported more than three months ago that Torino were keen to tie Aina down to a new improved deal in an attempt to ward off clubs interested in his signature.
Upon his return to the Maroons following a loan spell at Fulham last season, the Nigeria international has emerged as a key player under manager Ivan Juric.
In the current season, the versatile fullback has taken part in all the matches played by Torino in all competitions with the exception of the 1-1 draw at Venezia, taking his total appearances for the club to 80.
Aina will enter the last eighteen months of his contract with Torino in January 2022.
