Other clubs apart from Crystal Palace keeping tabs on Rangers' Super Eagles midfielder
Published: October 27, 2021Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge has claimed that plenty of clubs apart from Crystal Palace are keeping tabs on Glasgow Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo ahead of the January transfer window.
Allnigeriasoccer.com broke the news that the Nigeria international was attracting concrete interest from an unnamed English Premier League club and Football Insider later reported that Crystal Palace were plotting a move for the former Charlton Athletic man.
Aribo has caught the eye since switching to Rangers in 2019 and manager Steven Gerrard recently stated that the Scottish champions could struggle to keep hold of the 25-year-old if he continues with his fine form.
With twenty months left on his current contract, Rangers will be hoping to find an agreement with him on a contract extension or cash in on the versatile midfielder, who is valued in the region of ten million pounds.
"I'm sure people are watching him. He's a very skillful player. We can question the Scottish Premiership, sure, but he's been brilliant in the Europa League," Bridge told Givemesport.
"He's got European experience and played in countless Old Firm games.
"The Motherwells, Hearts' and Aberdeens away aren't as done and dusted as people think."

Aribo's representatives are the same as Premier League stars Alex Iwobi, Jadon Sancho, Bukayo Saka, Todd Cantwell and Eddie Nketiah.
