Five Nigeria-eligible players involved for Chelsea in incredible 4-4 draw with Fulham U18s
Published: October 23, 2021A late goal from Soonsup-Bell, assisted by Nigeria-eligible striker Louis Flower, helped Chelsea salvage a 4-4 draw in an U18 Premier League match against Fulham at Motspur Park on Saturday afternoon.
Flower, who recently signed his first professional contract at Chelsea, was joined in the starting line-up by 2019 Golden Eaglets invitee Prince Adegoke and right back Richard Olise, while Derrick Abu and Mendel-Idowu entered the game as substitutes in the closing minutes.
Twice the visitors took the lead in the first half, with Anderson (2) and Soonsup-Bell getting on the scoresheet, while
Wildbore and Araujo found the net for the Cottagers.

In the second half, a brace from Fulham midfielder Luke Harris saw them establish a 4-3 lead.
Harris bagged his second of the game when he converted a penalty won by in-form England U18 international of Nigerian parentage, Michael Olakigbe in the 76th minute.
Five minutes from time, Soonsup-Bell also netted his second goal after he was teed up by Flower as Chelsea got a point from the tricky encounter.
After seven matches, Fulham lead the way in the U18 Premier League South standings with 16 points accumulated, while the Blues are three points behind in fifth place.
