'Man Utd Need To Sign Ndidi' - Fans Hail Leicester Star After Brilliant Display Vs Red Devils

In a thrilling contest at King Power Stadium to open the Boxing Day Premier League fixtures, Leicester City and Manchester United shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw with Nigeria national teamer Wilfred Ndidi in the thick of action for the home team.

Heading into the game, the talking point centered around the individual duel between two midfielders Ndidi and Bruno Fernandes, and the Portuguese sensation was as influential as the Nigerian, setting up the opening goal scored by Marcus Rashford before scoring one himself.

Midway through the first half, Rashford gave the Red Devils the lead, Harvey Barnes spectacularly equalised for the Foxes in the 31st minute with Ndidi involved in the build-up.

Fernandes with a smooth team goal reestablished United's lead in the 79th minute before an Axel Tuanzebe own goal five minutes from time made it 2-2.

Several fans took to social media to praise Ndidi for his performance against one of the best teams in Europe, and some think he is good enough to play for the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United, while others have labelled him the best holding midfielder in the whole of the Premier League.
