Liverpool, Leeds, Arsenal, Crystal Palace Discover How Much It Will Cost To Sign Nigerian Playmaker
Published: December 23, 2020Several English Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on France youth international of Nigerian descent Michael Olise with a view to a potential swoop in the January transfer window.
Liverpool, Leeds United, Arsenal, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace have been mentioned as possible destinations in the event that the playmaker quits Reading, according to Football Insider.
The report added that signing Olise from the Royals can be done by activating an eight million pounds release clause in his current contract which is valid until June 30, 2022.
With several top-flight clubs interested in the exciting teenager, Reading can drive up his transfer fee by extending his contract but they are concerned that he could be leaving the club for a cut-price fee next month.
Olise is having a banner season for Reading, appearing in every single game played by the club in the Championship and has scored four goals while providing seven assists.
Reading rejected a bid from Leeds United for the attacking midfielder in the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old has been on the books of the Madejski Stadium outfit since 2016 after stops at Chelsea and Manchester City.
