'It's A Game Which Is Going To Be Really Tough' - Leicester Star Ndidi Wary Of Everton
Published: December 16, 2020Wilfred Ndidi believes his Leicester City teammates should be wary of the Everton squad coached by Carlo Ancelotti when both teams face off at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Toffees, who have Alex Iwobi in their ranks, will head into the matchday 13 fixture high on confidence following their 1-0 victory over Chelsea in their last game.
Ndidi's injury problems are well and truly behind him and the Nigeria national teamer is set to make his second consecutive appearance in the top-flight against Everton - something which has not happened since September.
Speaking to LCFC TV, the holding midfielder stated : "It’s a game which is going to be really tough because, obviously, it’s Everton. In the Premier League, you get different teams with different feelings.
"It’s something we’re looking to and hopefully it comes out well. It’s been good, but we don’t get too comfortable. In the Premier League, any team can beat any team, but it’s good to have that confidence when you win.
"They also won, so it’s going to be a tough one, but we’re looking forward to it."
Since Ndidi's arrival at Leicester City in January 2017, he has faced Everton eight times in all competitions, winning five matches and losing the others.
