'It's Like He's Two Players' - Leicester Star Applauds Ndidi For Winning The Ball Before Sensational Goal
Published: December 14, 2020Leicester City attacking midfielder James Maddison has applauded Wilfred Ndidi for the part he played in his second goal against Brighton & Hove on Sunday night.
The Foxes number 10 squeezed the ball into the bottom corner to open the scoring in the 27th minute and Jamie Vardy turned from provider to scorer when he made it 2-0 at the near post.
Just before half time, Maddison scored a sensational third goal when he curled the ball into the top corner after Ndidi recovered possession in the build up.
Manager Brendan Rodgers started with a 4-2-3-1 formation against the Seagulls before switching to 4-3-3 to counter Brighton's tactics.
On his second goal, Maddidon told Leicester's official webpage : "We actually won the ball in midfield. Wilfred Ndidi, [it's] really good to have him back, I feel safe when I'm in there with Wilf behind me.
"It's almost like he's two players, and what Wilf's improved on a lot, especially since I joined the Club, is his passing ability.
"It's improved a lot and [he] wins the ball back, and I remember, his first pass being forward to me. [A] forward, along-the-floor, hard pass and that's something that he's really improved on."

Against Brighton & Hove, Ndidi made his first Premier League start since September 20, after recovering from an adductor issue that required surgery.
