Lively Lookman Provides Assist As Fulham Held To 1-1 Stalemate By Liverpool
Fulham were held to a 1-1 stalemate by current champions Liverpool in a Premier League clash at Craven Cottage on Sunday evening, with three Nigerian players starting for the Cottagers.

Tosin Adarabioyo and Ola Aina were part of a three-man defence and Super Eagles hopeful Ademola Lookman started in an attacking position.

Fulham stated brightly and deservedly took the lead through Bobby Reid in the 25th minute, the Jamaica international smashed the ball past goalkeeper Alisson Becker, assisted by Lookman.

The lively RB Leipzig loanee had cut Liverpool's defence open with a through ball, freeing up space for Reid who finished superbly.

Six minutes after the opener, Adarabioyo came close to scoring his first goal in the top-flight when he connected with
Ivan Cavaleiro's ball-in but was denied by a top save from Alisson.

Liverpool managed to salvage something from the game when an Aboubakar Kamara handball led to a penalty converted by Mohamed Salah in the 78th minute.

In the end Fulham held on for a massive one point and now hold a two-point advantage over 18th placed Burnley, who face Arsenal in the late kickoff.
