Club Brugge Lower Their Asking Price For Super Eagles Striker Targeted By West Brom
Published: December 12, 2020Club Brugge are willing to end their association with Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis as from the January transfer window despite the Super Eagles striker having a valid contract until June 2022.
Dennis is obsessed with a transfer to the English Premier League so much so that he has been low on confidence and his performance level has dropped since the start of the 2020-2021 campaign.
Nieuws365 is reporting that Club Brugge have settled for a transfer fee of around 8-10 million euros for Dennis, approximately fifteen million euros less than his asking price in the summer transfer window.
The Nigeria international was close to a move to West Brom this past summer but the deal eventually fell through after he was not issued a work permit.
The deal that would have taken Dennis to the Baggies was a loan that included an option to buy him permanently at the end of the season.
Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray have been mentioned as a possible destination for the 23-year-old next month.
He has played 13 games in all competitions this term, scoring one goal and setting up three others.
