Aged seventeen, Fiabema, who was signed for Norwegian club Tromso in the January transfer window, is still eligible to represent Chelsea U18s, but has been drafted into the U23 squad after a string of fine displays.
He opened his account for Chelsea U23 team as they beat Arsenal 3-0 at Kingsmeadow and continued his red-hot form by netting a brace against Derby Town - the three goals scored after his introduction as a substitute.
On October 24, he got on the scoresheet on his full debut for the U23s in a 3-1 loss at Liverpool.
To win the Premier League 2 Player of the Month prize, Fiabema faces competition from Isaac Fletcher (Middlesbrough), Joe Hugill (Man United), Benjamin Mbunga-Kimpioka (Sunderland), Cole Palmer (Man City) and Rhys Williams (Liverpool).
