Watford Coach Expects Super Eagles Defender To Be Available Vs Blackburn Rovers
Published: October 20, 2020On his full debut for Watford, Nigeria international William Troost-Ekong had to be replaced in the 71st minute against Derby County due to a hamstring issue.
Hornets manager Vladimir Ivić has brought good news regarding the availability of the central defender for his side's Championship clash against Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday.
Troost-Ekong has resumed full training with the rest of the squad and could be an option against Rovers.
"I expect he'll be available for this game and to give us his best,” Ivic told Watford's official website.
"He has quality and will help us for sure. We must be patient with him as he needs to adjust with new players.
"He needs to have information about the players and the players need to have information about him and his qualities. He is experienced and he'll adjust fast."
Watford sit fifth in the table with ten points from five matches ahead of the visit of Blackburn Rovers to Vicarage Road.
