'One Of The Greatest Clubs In Europe' - Victor Moses Reacts After Move To Spartak Is Confirmed
Published: October 15, 2020In his first words after completing his loan move to Spartak Moscow, Victor Moses has labelled the Russian Premier League giants 'one of the greatest clubs in Europe'.
With 22 titles to their name, Spartak Moscow are the record winners of the Soviet Top League / Russian Premier League, and have lifted the Soviet Cup/Russian Cup on thirteen occasions.
Former Chelsea star André Schürrle, Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo, ex-Arsenal midfielder Kim Källström and 2013 AFCON winner Emmanuel Emenike are among the notable players who have represented the Red-Whites in the past.
Speaking to Team Moses Media shortly after his move to Spartak Moscow was confirmed, Moses said : "Hello guys, it's a great pleasure for me to sign for Spartak, one of the greatest clubs in Europe.
"I cannot wait to get started to meet my teammates. It's going to be an interesting season. Come on Spartak!"

Moses previously had loan spells with foreign clubs Fenerbahce and Inter Milan in addition to Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham in England.
Ten games into the season, Spartak Moscow and Zenit are locked together on 21 points but the Saint Petersburg based team occupy the first position thanks to their better goal difference.
