Spartak Moscow Turned Attention To Victor Moses After Failing To Land Tottenham Star
Published: October 15, 2020Spartak Moscow made an approach to sign Victor Moses only after Tottenham Hotspur's Ivory Coast international fullback Serge Aurier turned down a move to the Russian Premier League club, according to reports.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Muscovites are looking to sign a fullback and previously enquired about Aurier but are now on the brink of a deal for Moses.
The former Nigeria international is seemingly not in the plans of manager Frank Lampard considering the fact that he has yet to figure for the Blues in domestic competitions this term and was omitted from the Champions League roster.
Moses has entered the last nine months of his contract with Chelsea and will have to extend his agreement with the Blues by a further year before he is given the green light for his loan move to Spartak Moscow.
An option to buy set at eight million pounds will be included in the deal taking the Nigerian to Spartak Moscow.
Since joining Chelsea in August 2012, the former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic man has spent time on loan at Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham, Fenerbahce and Inter Milan.
