Fulham Coach Reacts To Reports Linking Club With Move For RB Leipzig's Lookman
Published: September 23, 2020Fulham boss Scott Parker faced the cameras shortly after his side's 2-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday and one of the subjects he addressed was speculation linking the club with a move for ex-Everton star Ademola Lookman.
It has been suggested that the Cottagers are working on a deal to bring the 2017 England U20 World Cup-winning winger to Craven Cottage on loan for the remainder of the 2020-2021 season.
Lookman has struggled for form since his permanent switch to RB Leipzig last summer, making only two starts from a possible 47 in all competitions in 2019-20.
But he still has a good reputation in England and Fulham are reportedly interested in signing him because he offers pace and directness.
When asked about the rumours liking the club with Lookman and Marlon Santo at Wednesday's post-match press conference, Parker told reporters including Football. London : "It's all speculation really and players are owned by other teams so I wouldn't want to comment on them.
"I think it's clear we want to do some business but as for those individuals it's not for me to comment really."
Fulham have loaned in another London-born Nigerian player in the ongoing transfer window, bringing in Ola Aina from Torino.
