Impressive Victor Moses On Target As Chelsea Are Held To A Draw By AFC Wimbledon
Published: September 15, 2020Former Nigeria international Victor Moses has resumed training with Chelsea following the conclusion of his loan spell with Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The versatile winger featured for a Chelsea XI as they were held to a 1-1 draw by League One side AFC Wimbledon in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Cobham on Tuesday afternoon.
AFC Wimbledon took the lead through a trialist who scored with a header in the 18th minute only for the impressive Moses to net the equaliser five minutes later.
The game against the Dons afforded the Nigerian the opportunity of getting valuable game time ahead of a potential move before the summer transfer window closes for business.
It is believed that Moses is not in the plans of first team boss Frank Lampard for the 2020-2021 season as he has not been officially assigned a squad number.
With his contract set to run out in the summer of 2021, Chelsea will be desperate to sell him in this window or risk losing him for nothing at the end of the season.
Moses has also spent time on loan at Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham and Fenerbahce since joining Chelsea eight years ago.
