Former Stoke City manager Johan Boskamp has revealed that Cyriel Dessers is attracting interest from English and German clubs ahead of the reopening of the transfer window.
The Belgian-born frontman is having an outstanding season with Heracles Almelo and is the joint-top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie with 15 goals in 26 games.
Currently valued at three million euros by transfer market experts, Boskamp has predicted that Dessers will be worth more than that figure once he makes his international debut for the Super Eagles.
"Dessers is someone who shoots them in. Once he is international, his market value increases again and you can only benefit from it," Boskamp told Het Belang van Limburg via voetbalbelgie.
"It seems that German and English clubs are already after him. Great for that guy, because he was actually already written off here."
The 25-year-old Dessers has been playing in the Netherlands since the summer of 2016 after transferring from KSC Lokeren.
