Two Nigeria international internationals in the shape of Josh Maja and Samuel Kalu will be hoping to show off their qualities to a plethora of European clubs when Bordeaux face off with OGC Nice in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday evening, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The official website of Bordeaux has confirmed that English Premier League trio Manchester United, Everton and Newcastle United talent spotters will be in attendance at the Stade Matmut-Atlantique (Bordeaux).
Representatives of Stade Rennes and Angers SCO will be in the stands to do opposition scouting ahead of upcoming games in the French top-flight and check on the progress of the top stars on both teams.
Spanish clubs are the most represented on the official list of scouts, with Celta Vigo, Valencia, Getafe, Deportivo Alaves and Eibar SD asking for tickets for the match day 27 fixture.
Former Sunderland striker Maja was linked with Everton in the January transfer window and was on the radar of Newcastle United before joining Bordeaux in January 2019.
Kalu's intermediary, William D'Avila of DW Sports Management, has close links with the Toffees and Getafe, having brokered the deals that took Henry Onyekuru and Oghenekaro Etebo to the clubs in 2017 and 2020 respectively.
