Specialized transfer market website, Transfermarkt.com updated the market values of players on Tuesday, February 11, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Club Brugge striker David Okereke suffered the biggest market value drop among Nigerian players, with the Nigeria U23 international's value reducing by three million euros.
Okereke became Club Brugge's most expensive acquisition in history when he was signed from Italian Serie B club Spezia for a fee of eight million euros but he is now valued at €7 million.
His highest market value since turning professional was the eleven million euros recorded on September 13, 2019.
He started his career at Club Brugge in brilliant fashion as he registered his name on the scoresheet seven times in 12 league matches but his goals have dried up, scoring in only one game against Zulte Waregem since November 10.
Okereke's form for Spezia last season earned him maiden call-ups to Nigeria's U23 national team and the Super Eagles in March 2019.
