The Reason Omeruo Has Been Ruled Out Of Leganes' Next Match Vs Real Betis
Kenneth Omeruo will not be available for selection when CD Leganes tackle Real Betis in the Spanish La Liga on Sunday, February 16, and this has nothing to do with the injury he suffered in the last game against Levante last weekend, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

The Nigeria national-teamer will sit out the fixture at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque (Leganés) because he received his fifth yellow card of the season in the 22nd minute of the encounter against Levante, which triggered a one-match ban.

Omeruo was cautioned for the first time this season against Granada on matchday seven, before picking up yellow cards against Getafe, Real Sociedad and Alaves.

With the number 4 out of the squad, it is envisaged that Chidozie Awaziem will be given a chance to fight for a starting spot in the training sessions ahead of the game vs Betis.

The Porto loanee was not named in the matchday 18 against Levante on February 8 because he was suspended for accumulation of bookings.

In his debut season in Spain, Omeruo was cautioned seven times and had to sit out the matchday 29 tie against Getafe due to suspension.
