Nigeria-eligible striker Cryril Dessers broke his mini-goal drought for Netherlands top flight club Heracles Almelo on Friday evening, scoring a brace as they beat Fortuna Sittard 2-0 at the Stadion Erve Arsito.
With 29 minutes on the clock, the striker won and converted a VAR-induced penalty, slotting home into the bottom right corner to put his team in the lead.
And one became two when he blasted a rocket of a shot from just outside the penalty area to the corner in the 70th minute, thus beating goalkeeper Coselev Alexei for the second time this evening.
Dessers has now tallied 14 goals in the Eredivisie this season, while he has also laid on five more for his teammates.
Heracles Almelo are placed eighth on the league stadings, with 29 points from 22 games.
