According to French media outlet Le 10 Sport, La Liga powerhouses Barcelona and Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen with a view to a potential summer move.
Los Blancos and The Azulgranas were credited with an interest in the Lille rising star last month but the window closed for business last Friday without the move materializing.
It is claimed that both clubs contacted Lille last month to make their intentions known about signing Osimhen.
Signed from Sporting Charleroi in August 2019, the former Golden Eaglets sensation has four years and five months to run on his contract with Lille and there could be a bidding war for his services as he is believed to be on the radar of top Premier League clubs.
Osimhen cost Lille 12 million euros and is currently valued at 30 million euros by transfermarkt, an amount that is affordable for Spanish and English clubs.
The 21-year-old has scored 16 goals and has three assists in 32 matches in all competitions this season.
