Italian-Nigerian striker Franklyn Akammadu is searching for a new club following his release by Alessandria.
In a press release published on the official website of Alessandria, the Italian Serie C outfit thanked him for his commitment and wished him all the best for the rest of his career.
Padova-born Akammadu departs Alessandria after scoring 5 goals in 20 official appearances.
The 21-year-old began his career in Italy with the youth team of Fiorentina before shifting to Cesena in 2015, first on a loan deal before he was acquired on a permanent basis the following year.
During his time at Cesena, he enjoyed loan spells at Fermana and Prato, and spent the first half of the 2018-2019 season on loan at English club Tranmere Rovers.
Akammadu has not played much this season - only seven games in total from a possible 25 in all tournaments - logging 212 minutes.
