In a new Super Eagles YouTube series 'Inside Eagles: You May Think You Know', Leganes star Chidozie Awaziem was asked to pick the most serious and hardworking player in the current Super Eagles set up.
Awaziem provided an answer that would make Super Eagles fans nod in agreement as he went for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
He said briefly : "I think Ndidi, he's a workaholic".
In the build up to the 2018 World Cup, Ndidi suffered a hamstring injury in a Premier League game against Crystal Palace which ordinarily would have kept him out of the tournament in Russia but he worked his way back to full fitness and emerged as one of the Super Eagles players that left with their reputation intact despite the country failing to progress beyond the group stage.
Most recently, the Foxes number 25 defied all medical logic when he returned to action thirteen days after undergoing a meniscus operation.
When asked to name the prayer warrior in the Nigeria squad, Awaziem went for Daniel Akpeyi, a surprise choice if you consider the fact that the Kaizer Chiefs glovesman is a laid-back character and Ikechukwu Ezenwa is more vocal when it comes to religious activities in camp.
