CIES Football Observatory have published an exclusive list of the most valuable players in the big five European leagues consisting of Spanish La Liga, Premier League, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A and French Ligue 1.
166 footballers are valued at more than €50 million, with the top five most valuable African players featuring in the English top-flight.
With a market value of €175.1 million, Liverpool's Egypt international Mohamed Salah is presently the most expensive African player followed by his Senegalese teammate Sadio Mane at €155.6m.
Arsenal's Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe took the third spot with a market value of 93.5 million euros.
Completing the top five Africans are two Super Eagles midfielders Alex Iwobi (Everton) and Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City), who are rated at €73m and €70.1m respectively.
Kylian Mbappe (€265.2 million), Raheem Sterling (€223.7m), Salah, Jadon Sancho (€168.9m) and Sadio Mane are the top five most valuable players in the world.
Lille youngster Victor Osimhen was the most valuable Nigerian forward in the list with a market value of 62.9 million euros.
