Club Brugge midfielder Hans Vanaken has backed his teammate Emmanuel Dennis to come good for the club after his sterling performance in the 1-1 draw with Gent on Sunday.
Dennis is getting back to his usual self after experiencing a morale-sapping drought, and has now contributed to three goals (two goals, one assist) in his last four games for the club.
Asked by Club Brugge's official website if he felt the club would be better off with the arrival of a new striker, Vanaken downplayed the chances saying : "Whether we need a new striker? I don't think so. Dennis and Diatta were dangerous and Tau played well in recent weeks, but now less so.
"The coach then solved that by bringing De Ketelaere. Percy now does not need a crisis of confidence. He is still doing very well."
Recently, Club Brugge were linked with the signature of Heracles Almelo's Nigerian striker, Cyriel Dessers as manager Phillipe Clement seek to add more goals to his side's games.
