According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com's editorial staff, Red Bull Salzburg are in advanced talks to sign Nigeria U17 international Samson Tijani.
The central midfielder has been invited to Austria for contract talks with the Austrian Bundesliga champions.
It has been suggested that both parties had agreed a preliminary contract before he was invited to Austria for the final round of negotiations.
The future of the Collins Edwin Sports Club starlet has become a hot topic in these parts following controversies surrounding the identity of his legitimate representative, with his father issuing out several mandates to different agents in the months leading up to the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup.
And as a result of the mess Tijani found himself in, he chose to remain incommunicado and changed his phone number.
Belgian clubs Anderlecht and Racing Genk as well as Napoli had been interested in the services of the Golden Eaglets captain before pulling out of the race.
The 17-year-old started four matches at the U17 World Cup in Brazil, scoring a brace in Nigeria's opener against Hungary.
